January 29, 2008I am hoping someone in Toyota reads this. There are a lot of people that want to buy a mid sized truck to tow boats and trailers. The Tacoma has great towing capacity but lousy seating for a family. Why not add 2" of legrooom in the front and 8" in the back, put it all on a long bed frame with a short bed. Call it the Family MAX instead of Crew Max.

January 29, 2008Yeah,, kinda hard to have your cake and eat it too I suppose. Lots of great advantages to the mid size toyota, but unfortunately that is one that I don't think will ever go away.
January 31, 2008^ which dont fit the bill for those who only need a mid-size.
January 31, 2008I dont think a pre-07 Tundra is that expensive nowdays, or is it?
February 4, 2008I don't want a Tundra and there are a lot of guys out there like me. Answers like those below are the reason Detroit is hurting. Make a vechicle people want and they will but it. I want a truck that can hold a few guys or the family comfortabily, tow a boat or camper, haul equipment or toys (Tractor, quad, snowmobile, bikes,...), bring the trash to the dump without sucking gas and is easy enough to park that my son or wife could do it while I am motoring the boat away from the ramp. How hard is it to make a comfortable back seat. I like some of the features in the Tundra like the roll down rear window also. If someone from Toyota is reading this I think you could also make a higher profit margin on this as no one serves this market. Just a thought........
March 20, 2008Anyone from Toyota reading these posts?
Any hope of seeing a turbo diesel truck anytime soon?
